- Lavender oil acts via GABA receptors and provides additional calming effects by moderating production of stress hormones such as adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), which stimulates cortisol production.
- Passionflower has an anxiolytic effect by affecting GABA neurotransmitter pathways.
